RIP Dr. Death Steve Williams
UPDATE: Here's footage of that tag title victory at the Omni from '92. I was there with Steve Stroud.
Dr. Death was one of my absolute favorites when I was a kid. Probably the best wrestling moment I ever witnessed first-hand was Dr. Death and Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy, aka the Miracle Violence Connection, beating the Steiners for the WCW tag titles at the Omni in 1992. The only consolation is that he died from throat cancer and not an overdose or drug-instigated heart attack.
