Spring BREAK! '94!
Fuck, 11 years ago.
I ended my college trip early to come back to ATL to see Pavement for the first time on the Thursday night of Spring Break. To this day one of my best shows. I stumbled across the set list for that show today...fuckin doosy! Just look at that ENCORE! Blew my mind at the time. I remember SM being somewhat drunk, but in great fucking spirits. The "Orchestra" songs were one rambling one SM played by himself-probably improved that night and then went into "Holly Springs Orchestra Song" which I think is an extended version of BRINX JOB. Also that wasnt a Lemonheads cover, that was the early working title for BLACK OUT from
Wowee Zowee i think. "Hit the Home Down" was "Home" in the middle of "Hit The Plane Down". I really really really wish I had a copy of this shit.
