What's Up Hammer?
This post is done under the pretense of a slight hangover...so take it at that...
As stated before, I am a huge fan of
Sirius Satellite Radio. Well, my new favorite program on this thing is on channel 147 - RAW DOG COMEDY which is essentially a no holds barred comedy station. To give you an example of the content, yesterday I heard David Cross on there talking about cumming on a Nun's tits.
The show Im pretty obsessed with is called
Breuer Unleashed. Now before I heard this program I wasn't really a big fan of
Jim Breuer at all, but I must say now - I'm a pretty huge fan. The only real exposure I had of him was through his various movie parts (still havent seen Half Baked) and SNL and always was luke warm about the dude. Did like his ability to make people laugh with physical comedy (similar to Farley). However, this show is hands down - fucking hilarious. Since its on satellite radio, the program is a radio talk show with no censors. Fuckin' this, bull fuckin' shit that...its great. There are other hosts on the show and the premise revolves around two comedians hanging out with their high school buds from long island. The show has been on for roughly 4 months now and has surmounted a surprisingly large following of dedicated "hammers" - Jim's phrase for bro. There are even college kids who have drinking games that go along with the show (drinking every time Jim does his dumb ass laugh). Some of the drunk ones call in towards the end of the show to prove it.
They do have the bad tendency of having multiple topics going on at once that are all over the damn place, yet they still make you laugh. Yesterday, I was practically crying in my car while they had the following three topics going at once: a) shaved coot vs. hairy coot vs. shaved balls vs. shaved dong b) wiping your ass standing up? c) can the Mets get to the series this year. Nothing really makes you laugh like some dumb ass jersey girl caller who calls up to explain how shaved balls taste better. Utterly ridiculous, totally tasteless, very low brow mindless humor, yet funny as fucking hell. This is a strange fascination, yet one I'm glad I tripped over. To be honest my love for the show probably comes from my fond memories of Head 2 Head. Which, lets be honest - was misunderstood comic genius.
So yeah, I have a new appreciation for Jim Breuer - he is a lot funnier than what you have probably seen on TV. If you get a chance or are looking into getting Sirius, this is a check in the pro column.
